누비아 숫양 머리 황금 부적

숫양 머리를 모티브로 삼은 부적이다.

기원전 약 712-664년으로 추정되며, 아마도 누비아Nubia에서 온 것 같다.

메트로폴리탄 미술관에 전시되어 있다.

이 부적은 아마도 쿠시 왕국 Kingdom of Kush 통치자가 착용한 목걸이를 위해 만들어졌을 것이다.

양은 누비아의 아문 신Amun과 관련이 있었고, 그곳에서 특히 존경받았다.

On display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

This amulet was probably made for a necklace worn by a ruler of the Kingdom of Kush.

Rams were associated with the god Amun in Nubia, where they were particularly revered.
