인도와 동남아시아를 잇는 고대 해상 무역로

 

SEA Heritage & History라는 데 오른 지도와 설명이라 소개한다. 

어느 정도 학술적 신뢰성을 담보하는지는 내가 확인하지 못했으니 혹 이용하시는 분들은 참고 바란다. 

인도와 동남아시아를 잇는 고대 해상 무역로 (기원전 1세기~15세기)다. 

이 지도는 기원후 1세기부터 15세기까지 인도 아대륙과 동남아시아를 연결한 해상 무역망을 보여준다.

이 기간 동안 상인들은 향신료, 금, 임산물을 교환했을 뿐만 아니라 힌두교와 불교 같은 종교, 문자 체계, 정치 체제, 예술 전통 등을 전파했다.

이러한 오랜 교류는 초기 동남아시아 왕국의 출현과 발전에 중요한 역할을 했다.
 
이른바 해양 실크로드 지도라 보면 되겠다.

당연히 동남아시아에 도달한 상품 혹은 사람들은 해안을 통해 중국에도 상륙했다.

저 일부가 직접이건 간접이건 한반도에도 영향을 미치게 된다.
