이란 카스피해에서 약 90km 떨어진 카즈빈 평원Qazvin plain 자게Zagheh (테페 자게Tepe Zagheh) 유적에서 출토된 어머니와 아이 점토 인형이다.
기원전 5000~4500년 무렵 제작된 것으로 추정되며, 구운 점토로 만들었고 아이를 안은 어머니 모습을 묘사한다.
어머니 머리는 길쭉하고 거의 원뿔형이며, 눈은 여러 개 홈으로 표현되어 있다.
아이는 따로 점토를 부어 만든 후 어머니 몸에 붙인 것으로 보인다.

Mother and child clay figurine, found at the Late Neolithic settlement of Zagheh (Tepe Zagheh), Qazvin plain, about 90km from the Caspian Sea in Iran. Dated ca 5000-4500 BC, it is made of baked clay and shows a mother with a child in her arms. The mother's head is elongated and almost cone-shaped, and her eyes are represented by several grooves. The child was made separately from shot clay and added to the body.
