고대 그리스 헤어숍, 머리를 깎는 남자와 머리를 깎이는 남자

뭐하는 장면을 표현하려 했는지는 딱 봐도 안다. 

턱수염을 기른 두 남자가 키톤chitons을 입고 있다.

한 사람은 이발사로 앉아 있는 남자 머리를 자른다.

두 사람 살은 검붉은색이다.

키톤은 흰색이었고 의자는 노란색이었던 것으로 보인다.

받침은 한때 흰색이었고 가장자리를 따라 빨간색 페인트가 칠해졌다.

그리스 보이오티아, 기원전 500~475년.

이런 것만 보면 왜 괜히 짜증부터 나는지 모르겠다. 

대체 우리 조상님들은 뭘 하셨기에 저런 도상도 남기지 않아 우리를 개고생케 한단 말인가?
